MISSION STATEMENT
Have an active participation in protecting the groundwater of New Mexico by furthering the onsite industry through collaboration and education: of government, manufacturing, installer and consumers.
We are a NEW ASSOCIATION made up of ONSITE wastewater installers, and NMED personnel. We are a natural growth from the Lincoln County “Summit” group that has been meeting quarterly for four years. We have a good working relationship with NMED.
Association membership is $100.00. On August 31, 2010 the board extended all memberships for an additional year without additional fee. August 31, 2011 we will again look at the financial situation and decide on a fee schedule. Our group is not about fund raising; we are about collaborative cooperation that will be beneficial to OUR INDUSTRY.
Governor Susana Martinez has issued "Executive Order #1" asking for feedback on how to make Government in New Mexico more Business Friendly. Emails have gone out and you have responded AWESOMELY. Your suggestions are being put into the tiny little boxes of the format requested. Look under "Events" for more information.
Resolution: The board voted to send a resolution to Governor Susana Martinez to keep the Liquid Waste (Septic) program under the Environmental Health Division vs. Construction Industries. See "Events" tab.
